Elephant Painting. The Pachyderm. Original 51*39 inch oil painting, created in 2023, featuring a gigantic elephant, and its unique framing. This oil on canvas highlights the gigantism of this animal and invites the viewer to form their own idea of the out of sight part. This artwork aims to raise awareness among the viewer about the beauty of nature that we knowingly destroy.

The details and texture effects (thick layers or impasto) allow for a rendering that you can spend hours observing. The multiple glazes, involving the layering of one or more transparent paint layers, give this work a particular depth. Depending on the time of day, it will take on shades of gold, purple, or aqua.
