Monkey Painting. Chermonkey. Original oil painting measuring 130*97/100 cm, created in 2022, featuring a chimpanzee with a sad gaze, adorned with an Indian headdress. This unique work is satirical. It denounces human hegemony over animal species, particularly their threat to the environment. The metaphor is evident in the eyes of this monkey, who has realized that after the Indo-American genocide (Indian headdress), animals will be the next victims. This painting aims to raise awareness among the viewer about the beauty of nature that we knowingly destroy.
This monkey painting was entirely handmade. I use only professional-grade materials (Sennelier oil paint and premium-quality linen canvas). Indeed, only high-quality pigments ensure longevity over time. It is a unique original work of art. Consequently, it is signed on the front and delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
