I painted this artwork after having won in 2021 the first prize in the international competition “The big one.” This giclee print is a poster of an my original handcrafted artwork of 39 * 39 incles oil painting. This satirical work aims to denounce human threat upon animal species. The indian hairdress is a symbol. I wanted the monkey’s eyes to urge the viewers understanding, from the sadness in his eyes, that he has understood animals are the next one under the disappearance’s list.

All of my artworks have a second layer of meaning and carry messages.

The meticulous work that goes into my artworks is largely due to my love for details. Thus, I aim to engage the viewer through narrative figuration.
